Elisa was born in Mexico but raised in East Palo Alto, where she attended Elementary and Middle School. After spending time as a Ronald McDonald House volunteer and a parent advocate for her children in their schools, Elisa became passionate about working with students and their families. Following her passion was what lead Elisa to become a member of The Primary School community. Elisa attended Ashford University where she received her B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Educational Psychology. Elisa is an advocate for the creative arts and her love and passion allowed her to initiate an Art Club through a nonprofit organization, the Rosalie Rendu Center. Elisa strongly believes that the freedom of creative expression and early intervention are essential for helping and preparing students for higher education and to strive in life.
