Vosa Cavu-Litman

Vosa has been an educator and school leader for 14 years and has strived to share his life-long love for learning, and to build teams of committed leaders that empower their communities.

Vosa started his career as an educational counselor as an undergraduate at San Jose State University in California; he began teaching in Los Angeles as a corps member in Teach for America and completed his MA in Education. Vosa then moved to Korea for six years, where he worked in school expansion and curricular development. He returned to the Bay Area to help start The Primary School in East Palo Alto.

For more than a decade, Vosa has also taken young adults from around the US on immersive intercultural programs throughout Europe and South America during the summers; he has led multiple programs specializing in Cultural Discovery, Environmental Conservation, Ancient Civilizations and Indigenous People, Language Training, Community Service, and Youth Empowerment and Leadership. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Bring Me A Book and is on the Community Advisory Board for Stanford University’s Center for Clinical Research. Vosa is now helping to start the second school of The Primary School in Hayward, CA.
